Top 10 Defects Per Saunders Home Inspections

  • Cooling and Heating: Air leakage in attic due to unsealed ductwork / A/C Condenser problems such as configuration and the home not cooling
  • Walls: Damaged Exterior siding/covering including cracks, rot, wind damage, and structural
  • Roof : Cracked, torn, and blistering shingles allowing leaks visible inside the attic
  • Electric: Defective ground fault circuit breaker interrupter outlets in bathrooms, kitchen, garage, and outside. GFCI not properly installed / Incorrect wiring / open wire connections / panel deficiencies such as missing breakers, lack of panel cover, and ungrounded system
  • Plumbing: Corroded and or leaking piping / lack of water pressure
